Camp Royaneh is a beautiful site near the Russian River in the wooded hills above Cazadero, about 65 miles north of the Golden Gate bridge. The vistas are awesome. The camp has a large dining hall, lighted amphitheater, shower houses and hiking trails as well as cabins with wooden bunk beds, and 13 campsites with platform tents, screened latrines, water and picnic tables. Bring your own bedding. Also, you may sleep in your vehicle or RV. The pool will be open. There are refrigerators for your personal food (bring what you need for breakfasts and lunches).
DIRECTIONS:
1. Get to Guerneville: Coming north on 101, take the Sebastopol turn-off and take Hwy 116 through Sebastopol to Guerneville;
OR ... from Hwy 101 north of Santa Rosa, take the River Road-Guerneville exit (Russian River resort area) to Guerneville.2. From Guerneville, continue west on 116, through Monte Rio, until you come to Austin Creek Bridge (a small concrete bridge).
3. After crossing the bridge, turn north (right) toward on Cazadero Highway (not Austin Creek Road) toward Cazadero. (If you come to Duncan's Mills you've gone a little too far, go back and make a left on Cazadero Hwy).
4. Go up Cazadero Highway, about 4.1 miles When you see the sign to Camp Royaneh, turn right and follow the bumpy road to the registration area. (We will put Sufi Signs up to assist you).
